This Privacy Policy explains how Block Ads & Pop Ups for Safari (the “App”) handles information in connection with the App and its website.
Third-party websites and services have their own privacy practices and are governed by their respective privacy policies.
How the App Works
The App uses Safari content-blocking extensions and locally generated content-blocking rules to block selected types of content and websites in Safari.
The App does not collect or monitor your browsing history through its content-blocking functionality.
Services and Network Activity
The App uses certain third-party services and network connections to provide its functionality.
Firebase Remote Config
The App uses Firebase Remote Config to retrieve application configuration, including configuration related to subscription offers and paywalls.
RevenueCat
The App uses RevenueCat to provide and restore in-app subscriptions. RevenueCat may process purchase, subscription, and device-related information necessary to provide these services.
Rule List Downloads
The App downloads rule lists used for ad and tracker blocking from third-party list providers.
When the App connects to these providers, they may receive standard technical information associated with an internet connection, such as your IP address, in accordance with their own privacy practices.
Subscriptions and Purchases
Purchases and subscriptions are processed through Apple’s App Store.
The App does not receive or process your payment-card details.
Apple and RevenueCat may process information necessary to complete purchases, manage subscriptions, verify subscription status, and restore purchases according to their respective privacy policies.

If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address and the contents of your message.
We use this information to respond to your request, provide support, and manage related communications.
We retain support communications only for as long as reasonably necessary for these purposes or as required by law.
Data Storage and Retention
Some App settings and configurations, including content-blocking preferences and selected Focus Sites, may be stored locally on your device or within storage used by the App and its extensions.
Information received through support communications is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide support or comply with applicable legal obligations.
Third-party service providers may retain information according to their own privacy policies and retention practices.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information handled in connection with the App.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Third-Party Services and Disclosures
Information may be processed by the third-party service providers identified in this Privacy Policy where necessary to provide their respective services.
Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
The App does not use advertising SDKs or data brokers to sell personal information.
Your Choices
You can manage Safari content-blocking extensions through your device Settings.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple Account subscription settings.
Focus Sites and other blocking preferences can be managed within the App.
For privacy questions or requests relating to information you have provided through support communications, contact us at abppsup@protonmail.com.
